Does your passion get in the way?

I don't believe you can be too passionate as a heart centered entrepreneur or healing professional, but your passion can get in the way of promoting your services effectively. "Does your passion get in the way of profit?" is a topic explored in Step 4 ~ Find Your Niche of the Six Steps for Success.

Speaking of passion and exuberance about a topic, I am very excited about Six Steps to Start your Heart Centered Business that is starting on Sunday. I am really looking forward to diving deeply into this material with the class participants because it is a topic I am so passionate about. I want to set up these emerging heart centered entrepreneurs with the skills, know-how and confidence to launch their businesses successfully and sustainably.

I know how painful it can be trying to start a business and not knowing what you don't know, where to focus, how to attract clients and how to create something sustainable. It took several incarnations, fits and starts, trial and error, taking classes and finally working with a coach for me to achieve the clarity on how to make my business a dynamic balance of flowing and grounded enough to support my life.

I realized I had a passion for how to make this heart centered business thing work. I decided to pay what I learned forward. I distilled all the knowledge, insight, mistakes, sweat and tears into a clear, step-by-step process so my Reiki students didn't have to struggle as much as I did to be in business supporting their lives.

And then I discovered that this information is big enough to embrace other healing professionals and heart centered entrepreneurs and empower and ground their businesses too. So Six Steps was born.

I spent much of today putting the finishing touches on the workbook for the class, and I was astonished to discover that it is 80 pages long! I know I am passionate, and that I have a lot to share about this topic, but I sure hadn't realized I could produce an 80 page workbook!

Wohoo!

This feels like a writing / production milestone for me, and it keeps my fire burning to continue working at writing my much bigger book From Heart-sick Employee to Heart Centered Entrepreneur and Soul Satisfying Living.

All because I want to help people find the courage, confidence and clarity to take that scary leap of faith into becoming a heart-centered entrepreneur knowing they have built a strong, pliable foundation to land on.
